Multi-disciplinary arts group Punctum, asked Yay Tractor to design a flyer to promote their immersive group art show In-Habit at the Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne. The show revolved around the themes of place and interaction, so our solution was to create a piece of marketing that would become a keepsake artwork in itself. The result was both a game and a physical memento. The game encouraged participants to explore the convent grounds to 'discover' a serious of motifs and patterns that could be found in the architectual ornamentation around the convent building. The second part of the game was to construct your own convent by arranging a series of intersecting cards contained in the package.
