Face to face: springvale stories
www.springvalestories.org.au

Face to Face is a multi-platform, community engagement project run by the City of Greater Dandenong. Face to Face: Springvale Stories uses documentary film, photography, oral history and web to engage with the culturally diverse communities that make up the Melbourne suburb of Springvale.

The project team brought Yay Tractor on board to design, create and manage the project's online site. Based on existing visual collateral, Yay Tractor worked with the creative team and web developers to design a pilot site that will become the primary communications tool for all the different mediums employed by the project.

This project was awarded the 2010 Vic Health Communications Award.

Yay Tractor continues to work on the evolution of the project and, in 2011, will be conducting workshops with the local community to teach them how to create and upload their own multimedia stories to the site.
